Why Crazystatz?
FOR CENTURIES, history has neglected to celebrate a vast majority of successful African Americans and people of color in the United States. While statues and monuments tend to highlight various Black leaders, the are a great deal of statues and monuments portraying everyday Black people as second class citizens through the lens of slavery and civil rights movement.
So We're Changing The Narritive

Artist Spotlight
Michael Garvey, PhD
The collection is the work of Michael Garvey, PhD, accomplished artist and relative of the renowned Jamaican political activist, Marcus Garvey. He has a passion for exploring art and decentralized technology as catalysts for social, economic, and sociopolitical advancements of Black communities. Garvey received his doctoral degree from Howard University with a further research agenda centered on analyzing the economic effects of climate change.

Founded by the contractors hired to remove Confederate Monuments from their original public pedestals, CryptoFederacy is a community rooted in creating artwork and NFT moments that give back to the underserved communities most impacted by America's centuries-old relationship with slavery, institutional racism, and other sentiments emblematized by Confederate Monuments.
